Why are we putting these messages on boobs?
Globes for the Globe has one mission: to present tips for saving the environment in a way that everyone wants to pay attention: written on boobies. Anyone 18 or over can send in a picture.
The site was launched in April of 2009 by Ed Adkins and Colin Loretz, because they wanted to help the environment in their own way. Basically, Ed was watching the coverage of Live Earth a couple years back and nearly had an aneurysm due to the ridiculousness of it all. “Right after watching Matt Damon explain to Oprah how important it was to use compact fluorescent bulbs I knew I had to do something. People needed to get these messages from a source they relate to- and one that would make all the sacrifice and investment seem immediately worth it.”
Since a spoonful of sugar (or a handful in this case) makes the medicine go down, it just made sense. So much about “going green” is a bummer- you have to change your habits, make better purchasing decisions, and all of this takes time and sometimes money. If you’re going to have to put all that effort in, what better place to read the news than on a pair of sweet ta-ta’s?
Yeah, that brings us to our point. Who doesn’t like tits? Dudes like them, even chicks dig boobs. It didn’t take much research to learn that writing these things on taints would only appeal to a small niche. So, boom goes the dynamite- we built this sucker. Hope you enjoy- please send in your knockers & help us save the planet.

Ed Adkins [edadkins.com @edadkins]
This guy likes to get into stuff. He’s a web marketer and designer, strategic planner and general rabble rouser. When he’s not plugging away at work he occasionally MCs for a burlesque troupe or writes funny stuff on his blog. The site was his idea, so if you’re really really pissed off or want to hire him to help you change the world, let him know.
Colin Loretz [colinloretz.com @colinloretz]
Colin is the more responsible of the two, due to his proper upbringing and strong sense of moral values. He makes things happen. He’s a web developer, designer, entrepreneur, and likes to make things. Oh yea, and he rides a sweet bike – doing his part to change the world!
